Overview of the position

The Factory Manager will lead the factory operations for our factories in Quy Nhon or Dong Nai. Responsible for the production as per the schedule meeting productivity, quality & safety, safety of workers in the department, conserve goods and properties of the company in the department and manage Staff and Labor in production. The role will be based in Vietnam, with one headcount in Quy Nhon and one in Tien Nga, Dong Nai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and Managing production plans and maintaining quality of the products.

• Planning, organizing, controlling and co-ordination all activities ranging from daily tasks to long-range projections by implementing of plans & utilizing the manpower and system to achieve the production target.

• Ensure maximum production and optimal out-turns through available resources to minimize conversion cost and waste.

• Inventory management for all raw materials and packaging materials

• Implementation of food safety regulations & GMP principles at plant.

• To develop skills amongst the subordinates through training and demonstrations to make them able to adopt technological advancements.

• Optimization of manufacturing processes for utilities and energy conservation.

• To Prepare and implement standard operation procedures in respective areas as standard practice.

• To ensure safe working conditions and environmental protection.

• To prepare the department’s budget and to ensure that expenses are in limits.

Experience & Qualification

• BSc/Ba in Technology in food/chemical/mechanical/production or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus

• 5 years + of relevant experience in production management in the food/beverage industry with at least 2 years as a factory manager.

• Must be geographically mobile, with potential for relocation after initial period.

• Good knowledge in quality standards, ISO

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (all skills).
