Specific Accountabilities:
The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. However, it will be in close communication with Head of Trade Management on following task assignments:
Negotiate with Local carriers and Regional Trade Lanes to procure the best buying rates.
Aligns, implements and monitors trade lane FCL budget including monitoring and controlling of FCL volumes performance and management of deviations
Reviews and promotes trade lane ocean freight projects with focus on FCL product strategy
Processes trade lane ocean freight market analysis in close cooperation with Ocean
Freight Business Development of Vietnam
Supports country KAM/Sales functions and country ocean freight teams regarding identification and acquisition of strategic FCL accounts and with attendance on key customer meetings
Consulted FCL product related issues of his/her respective trade lane within Vietnam
Reporting: weekly & monthly as required by Head of Trade. E.g.: Weekly allocation performance, the use of non-preferred carriers, on quotation hit ratio and so on.

Self-disciplined and capable of working independently
A good mix of procurement & commercial mindset is vital
Good communication & interpersonal skills
A team player: collaboration & cooperation with different departments is important
Problem solving skills
Very good analytical skills
Fluency in English (written & verbal communication)
IT literacy – comfortable to work with a range of common software
Good at time management
Influencing, negotiating skills
2. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s in Business Logistics/Administration/Trade/Economics or related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience: Pricing or Operations.
A good understanding of Inco terms
Good geographical knowledge
Existing well-established relationships to carriers
