This position is responsible for designated manufacturing process and documentation, methods analysis/improvements, machines layout and equipment acquisition, preparation of equipment justification and appropriation request development, and maintenance of manufacturing information and Statistical process control systems, providing analytical troubleshooting, and leading projects designed to improve efficiencies, assure quality and reduce costs. Hands-on to involve process and production activity is a must.

PRE-ORDER REVIEW

Prompt and correct Pre-order Review to ensure product specification and cost achieve customer requirement:

1.1 Pre-order technical review and cost evaluation, quote to customer on time

1.2 Technical communication with sales/customer, proactive to understand product application and customer requirement.

MANUFACTURING/ ENGINEERING PROCESS MANAGEMENT

Fully understand current process capability. Execute; improve processes simply, reliably, and efficiently.
Reduce process variance. Ensure product yield achieve target. Specific duties including but not limited to:

Order review efficiently on time
Ensure the readiness, up-to-date and reliability of processes WI, WPS, BOM/Routing.
Ensure P-FMEA was updated and apply on time.
Trouble shooting on shop floor for thin film coater.
New processes or process changes are evaluated, documented, and are compatible with corporate engineering and manufacturing information systems.
Strict enforcement of manufacturing procedures & equipment operation though training & audits o Leads and/or participates in resolutions or problem, which may be people, machinery or process related.
Train operators and technicians on technical aspects of process flow & equipment operation, including safety.
Weekly review for improvement to meet target yield of process.
Complete CAR and Task efficiently on time.

PROCESS OPTIMISATION AND IMPROVEMENT

Saving cost by continual optimize and improve processing method, material, tooling, consumable etc.
Specific duties including but not limited to:

o QRB Project. Qualify for new material, machine, tooling, consumable, process (exclude measurement related).
o Improvement Project for cost saving and capability improvement.
o Develop alternative material, tooling, consumable, machine.
o Optimizing process to shorten cycle time.
o Support P.I.C team for supply chain localize for cost saving.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences. The following specialisations in Engineering or Sciences are preferred: Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronics Engineering; Chemical Engineering; Material Sciences; Materials Engineering and other relevant specialisations.
At least 2 years of related working experience in manufacturing environment with a highly technical, quality oriented, high volume, light-manufacturing environment. Working experience in Optical Manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Experience in well-developed fault isolation, problem solving & analytical skills.
Experience in methodisation and improvement of manufacturing processes.
Experience in designing simple tools, jigs and fixture for manufacturing processes.
Experience in using P-FMEA, SPC and other statistical methods.
Experience in using AutoCAD.
Ability to use English for Business Communication.
Mandarin as the 3rd language is an advantage.
