• Greet all guests with a warm welcome and address guests using their names.
• Proficient in all computer systems and standard procedures used at the front desk.
• Responsible to ensure that special requests of check in’s are followed up
• Responsible for checking keys, registration cards, state of rooms, special request for check-ins
• Responsible for checking in /out guests efficiently and effectively.
• Be fully aware of all VIP’s and other specially noted guest for arrivals and currently in-house.
• Participate and be involved in all front desk activities in the day to day operation.
• To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible.
• To assist in keeping the hotel reception area clean and tidy at all times.
• To administer the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner.
• Responsible for checking registration rack in order
• Responsible for checking credit of all guests in house
• Responsible for checking folios of guests to ensure that they are in order
• Responsible for keeping work areas clean and neat
• Act as sales person to maximize room revenue and promote outlets and other hotel facilities and services.
• Liaise closely with housekeeping / Engineering and all other departments.
• In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
