Key responsibilities
· Retail Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of all retail stores, ensuring compliance with sales and operational targets.
· Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive retail strategies that elevate the customer experience and drive sales growth.
· Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing department to implement effective in-store promotions and brand initiatives that attract and retain customers.
· Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to inform dynamic pricing strategies and optimal product placement, enhancing store performance.
· Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory levels across stores, ensuring products are well-stocked, organized, and accessible to meet consumer demand.
· Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and support to store managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence in sales and customer service.
· Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future demand, and establish realistic sales goals to guide store performance.
· Sales Program Coordination: Collaborate with the Business Development team to refine and implement sales programs and initiatives that align with the brand's growth objectives.
Key skills and experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
· At least 5 years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and operational targets.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with experience in training and staff development.
· Strong ability to develop and implement retail strategies that improve customer experience and drive sales.
· Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market research, and setting sales goals based on data-driven insights.
· Experience with inventory management and an understanding of supply chain logistics.
· Experience working with marketing teams to drive promotions and enhance brand visibility.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and with business partners.
· Familiarity with retail management software, POS systems, and e-commerce platforms.
· A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and travel between store locations as required.
· Knowledge of interior, furniture, or design is preferred, enhancing the ability to contribute to store layout, visual merchandising, and overall customer experience.
Preference
· Experience with CRM and POS systems.
· Advanced training or certification in retail management or sales.
· Proven ability to implement successful in-store marketing and promotional campaigns.
· Demonstrated experience in conducting market research and applying insights to retail strategy.
