The duties and responsibilities of Student Affairs Team Leader include but is not limited to:
1. Student events that contribute to the overall well-being and development of students:
- Oversee the planning and implementation of student engagement initiatives, programs, and events, services, trainings for student wellness and development of soft skills;
- Develop and organize activities to cultivate a sense of community and building student leaders among students;
- Collaborate with other departments, faculties to create a support system for students, addressing academic, personal concerns;
- Organize the student academic events, competitions;
- Oversee the event organization;
- Coordinate and support other departments, faculties to organize events, contests and projects for students;
- Coordinate student volunteers for ASA's events;
- Collaborate with university members to provide comprehensive support to students during emergencies or challenging situations.
2. Policy development and compliance:
- Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in student affairs;
- Consult the Head of Academic and Student Affairs on developing regulations on student affairs, reward and discipline for students.
- Enforces and promote student affairs regulations;
- Inform, remind, guide students to comply with the regulations;
- Report incidents and recommend disciplinary action when needed;
- Monitor and record discipline violations of students in records;
- To liaise with government authorities on any issue that may arise from time to time;
- Coordinate with relevant units to resolve and prevent violations of rules, regulations, security and order in the university area;
- Propose forms of reward and discipline for students.
3.Team leader:
- Provide visionary leadership to the Student Affairs team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment;
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and professional growth;
- Plan and coordinate team activities, ensuring alignment with departmental and university goals.
