A Category Development Manager analyzes data and insights to identify retailer and consumer/ shopper trends on GT channel, devises long-term strategies for product categories, fosters relationships with vendors, determines product positioning, collaborates with marketing teams, and forecasts product. Report to: Trade Marketing Manager
Build specific channel on Trade Category plan to align with Trade Marketing Plan to deliver Category objectives (Weighted and Numeric distribution) so that it could maximize business goal on AOP.
Define and develop strategies to maximize Category/ Brand potential through sales opportunities and allocate funds for each activity while analyzing potential growth and risks of Category.
Proposed and executed trade marketing activities and drive go-to-market on growth Category plan on approved budget.
Work closely with sales force to collect market information and propose sales initiatives to protect product presence at POSM and to match Trade objectives with each market needs.
Liaising closely with all relevant brand team members
Monthly Review and analysis to do the Sales forecast on GT channel activities on Category to propose trade activity plan foreach market needs.
High level tactical planning.
Conformation:
Closely track and collaborate with other Marketing team/ Customer Development/ Supply Planning in marketing expenditures by assigned projects within the marketing budget and required timeline.
Others:
Take part in cross-functional Project as required.
Coperate with cross-functional departments.
Other tasks are requested by TMM/ BOD.

At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the field of Trade Marketing in FMCG industry.
Experienced in managing a working group to implement Brand development projects & Trade Marketing activities: new product development and brand activation program (BTL).
Business understanding: P/L structure knowledge and good knowledge of key consumer/ shopper/ sales insights
Good business sense, Good Interpersonal and Analytical Skill, Good negotiation skill, SMART and Creative mindset
Problem Solving Skill, Customer Service Foundation, GT & MT Sales experience and DMS knowledge.
Proficiency in the office computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Enthusiastic and proactive spirit at work.
Strong sense of business and highly result oriented.
Ambitious to grow, willingness to learn and be excellent in marketing field.
Well organized and detailed, able to work under high pressure.
