1. Position Overview:
The Import & Export Document Specialist for the steel sector at MRS Group is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and handling all documents related to import-export activities in the steel industry—a field that demands accuracy and deep understanding of international trade procedures. This position requires resilience, a pioneering spirit, and the ability to work well under pressure to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely import-export operations.
2. Job Criteria:
• Prepare & review import and export documents, including Sales contract, L/C, booking, shipping mark/label, Invoices, Packing List, B/L, C/O, Insurance certificate, Fumigation Certificate, Inspection Certificate and customs declarations…
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of import and export shipments.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping documents, including quantity, weight, and packaging details.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of import and export documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient import and export operations.
• Contact with bank to prepare payment documents by L/C + T/T
• Prepare full set of shipping documents in compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements to send Customers for Customs clearance procedures
• Stay updated on import and export regulations, trade agreements, and industry best practices.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Communicate with relevant stakeholders, including customs authorities and shipping carriers, to address inquiries and resolve documentation-related concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to import and export activities.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in import and export documentation processes
1. Requirements:
- Education: Graduated from colleges or universities, with preference given to graduates from Foreign Trade University, University of Economics, University of Technology, University of Foreign Economics, or University of Commerce.
- Major: Logistics, International Trade, Foreign Trade, Partnerships, Business English, etc.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required.
2. Experience:
- Work experience: Minimum of 2 years.
3. Skills:
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, strong will, and ability to work under pressure.
4. Other Requirements:
