Position Summary:
Pricing Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate pricing data, supporting the execution of pricing strategies, and assisting with pricing analysis to ensure consistent and profitable pricing practices. This role combines administrative tasks—such as updating price lists and managing customer pricing records- with analytical responsibilities like reviewing pricing data, identifying discrepancies, and providing input for pricing decisions. A successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, and attention to details.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain and update pricing records, customer-specific pricing, and discount structures in ERP System.
· Assist in implementing pricing module changes, and promotions with high accuracy and timely execution.
· Perform pricing analysis to evaluate pricing effectiveness, profitability, and market competitiveness.
· Review and reconcile pricing discrepancies or errors.
· Prepare price lists, quotes, and pricing documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
· Support audits, internal reviews, and reporting processes related to pricing activities.
Key Competencies:
· 2+ years of experience in pricing administration, pricing analysis, or a related role.
· Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, nested formulas, and data analysis tools.
· Excel power query knowledge is preferred
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
· Proficiency with pricing tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce) preferred.
· Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Understanding of a manufacturing environment is preferred
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
o Pricing Accuracy
· KPI: Percentage of pricing entries and updates completed without error.
· Target: 98% accuracy in pricing data entered or modified in ERP and pricing systems.
o Timeliness of Pricing Updates
· KPI: Percentage of pricing updates and changes implemented by the required deadline.
· Target: 95% of pricing changes completed on or before the effective date.
o Turnaround Time for Pricing Requests
· KPI: Average number of business days to complete internal pricing requests or resolve issues.
· Target: Complete 90% of pricing requests within 2 business days.
o Data Quality and Compliance
· KPI: Frequency and severity of data entry or compliance errors found in pricing audits.
· Target: Less than 2 critical errors per quarter in pricing audit reviews.
