The QA Assistant Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the quality and continuous improvement of products in charge, including managing quality issues, coordinating audits, and driving process improvements. This role also involves supporting cross-functional teams to address defects, customer complaints, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Monitoring & Issue Resolution:
Follow up on quality issues and defects within assigned categories (e.g., Basketball, Tennis, and others).
Work with the QC leader to resolve quality issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
Address customer complaints related to the assigned items, formulating action plans for resolution when necessary.
Documentation & Standardization:
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality matrices, manuals, packing instructions, and SWBs for items in charge.
Keep detailed historical records of items, including specifications, issues, and resolutions.
Input data into the WL system, including net/runner weight, packing method, and material weight, ensuring periodic updates.
Quality Standards Development:
Develop and establish new quality standards for items in charge, ensuring they meet or exceed industry and company expectations.
LPA (Layered Process Audit) Program Management:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate LPA activities according to the company’s audit calendar.
Ensure timely and effective execution of audits by operators, leaders, supervisors, and managers.
Update and maintain LPA checklists to ensure they align with control plans and critical process parameters.
Identify non-conformities, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Track audit results, generate summary reports, and escalate recurring issues to management for further investigation.
Process Improvement:
Monitor key quality indicators such as defect rates and scrap rates, analyzing trends to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address inefficiencies in process flow, equipment, or materials.
Lead or contribute to root cause analysis efforts using tools like 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
Propose and implement process improvements to reduce variations, waste, and non-conformance.
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions using methodologies like PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) and 8D to ensure sustained improvements.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting:
Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Generate and present reports to management regarding audit findings, process improvements, and key performance indicators.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education & Working Experiences:
University/College graduate in Technology, Industrial Engineering, or relevant fields.
At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably within the manufacturing, plastics, automotive, or electronics industries.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Good command of English, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Power BI and Excel.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
