1. Project Governance & Coordination:
• Act as the single point of contact for project intake, working closely with external project managers and internal teams.
• Define and implement standardized project tracking systems to provide real-time visibility on project status, risks, and resource allocation.
• Develop and enforce project governance standards, ensuring clear documentation, approval processes, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project reviews, ensuring alignment between Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations.
2. Factory Capacity & Resource Planning:
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering and Production Planning to determine factory capacity before accepting new projects.
• Assess the impact of new projects on ongoing operations, preventing resource overload.
• Work closely with Process Engineering to evaluate tooling, manpower, and process readiness.
3. Reporting & Data-Driven Decision Making:
• Create and maintain weekly project status reports for senior management, ensuring transparency on milestones, blockers, and next steps.
• Utilize Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools to develop interactive dashboards for tracking project progress and factory performance.
• Implement KPI tracking for NPI projects, ensuring data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Provide structured insights to optimize project prioritization and resource allocation.
4. Process Improvement & Risk Management:
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in project execution workflows and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with Engineering and Operations teams to enhance the efficiency of the NPI (New Product Introduction) process.
• Mitigate risks by proactively analyzing historical project data and improving forecasting accuracy.
