Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interface & Support
Serve as the technical point-of-contact for test-related issues, escalations, and inquiries at the customer site.
Support customer requirements for test development, validation, and production ramp-up.
Collaborate with customer engineers to understand specifications, timelines, and quality expectations.
Provide timely feedback and updates to internal teams and customers on test performance and issue resolution.
OSAT Test Oversight
Oversee day-to-day test operations at OSATs including test program deployment, hardware debugging, and yield monitoring.
Ensure test equipment and handlers at OSAT sites are functioning as expected and properly maintained.
Support and audit OSATs to ensure compliance with test procedures, quality standards, and documentation.
Participate in test hardware reviews (load boards, probe cards) and interface with test engineering and hardware design teams.
Test Process Improvement
Drive root cause analysis and resolution of test escapes, yield losses, and test time inefficiencies.
Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Work with OSATs to implement process changes or test optimization strategies to enhance throughput, yield, and test coverage.
Support Golden Device and correlation activities between sites, testers, and test platforms.
NPI and Change Management
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from test development handoff to production ramp at OSATs.
Coordinate with R&D and central test engineering to validate and release test programs.
Manage test engineering change orders (ECOs), including program revisions, binning changes, and test flow updates.
Ensure seamless test program and hardware transitions across test platforms or OSAT sites.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain up-to-date documentation of test flows, procedures, change logs, and qualification records.
Generate regular reports on test KPIs (yield, OEE, retest rate, escapes, etc.) for both internal and customer review.
Track and report OSAT performance metrics, and lead business reviews with key stakeholders.

Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering or OSAT management.
Strong hands-on experience with test platforms such as Advantest (93K), Teradyne (UltraFlex/J750), or NI STS.
Familiarity with ATE test development, debug, and correlation.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in test development tools, ATE scripting (e.g., C/C++, Python, STIL, etc.), and hardware debugging.
Strong understanding of test methodologies: digital, analog, mixed-signal, RF (based on product).
Knowledge of data analysis tools (JMP, Python, Excel) and semiconductor yield analysis techniques.
Experience with test data collection systems (e.g., Exensio, Galaxy, YieldHub) is a plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in customer-facing roles.
Self-starter with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
