Our client, a prominent player in the international financial services sector, is seeking an Accountant Executive
Job Purpose:
Provide essential support to the Finance Team in Hanoi.
Ensure compliance with Vietnam's legal and regulatory accounting requirements as well as internal policies and procedures.
Timely submission of all necessary reports to relevant authorities and internal departments.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and prompt completion of reports as requested
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting:
Prepare and submit daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to local regulatory authorities (e.g., State Bank of Vietnam, Tax Department) and internal teams.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in transmitting data, such as trial balances and financial reports, to the required bodies.
Handle requests for data, including loan and deposit details, and assist in ad-hoc reporting needs.
Accounting System:
Upload daily FX revaluation rates and generate required financial reports using the EGL system.
Process invoices (approximately 80-100 per month) and prepare payment vouchers.
Payment Processing:
Generate and print electronic invoices from vendor platforms for processing.
Assist with online tax returns and payments to government authorities.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and submit monthly withholding tax returns and yearly tax reports.
Manage online payments and filings with the tax department.
Other Duties:
Assist with treasury-related tasks, document filing, and maintaining tax records.

Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in banking or finance.
Strong accounting skills, a proactive approach, teamwork ability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Relationships:
Work closely with internal teams and departments.
Liaise with external stakeholders such as banks, tax authorities, and auditors.
