Working Purpose:
• Lead and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting standards.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve an accurate, transparent, and efficient accounting system.
• Consolidate and oversee financial statements, management reports, and internal profit & loss reports.
• Ensure financial control, cost management, and compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Support financial planning, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
• Establish and monitor internal controls to minimize financial risks.
• Optimize and oversee accounting systems, including ERP implementation and automation.
• Represent the company in dealings with tax authorities, auditors, banks, and relevant stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all accounting and finance operations of the company.
2. Control and maintain the accounting system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
3. Ensure bookkeeping aligns with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), tax regulations, and company policies.
4. Prepare, review, and submit financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting records.
5. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, including audits, CIT, VAT, PIT, withholding tax, and regulatory reports.
6. Review daily financial transactions, purchase orders, and expenditures.
7. Monitor and analyze cash flow, financial risks, and working capital management.
8. Perform monthly bank reconciliations, tax reporting, and allocation of prepaid expenses.
9. Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.
10. Provide accounting and financial support for other companies within the group.
11. Execute month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliation.
12. Manage PIT, CIT, Transfer Pricing, and other tax reporting.
13. Train, supervise, and manage accounting staff to ensure efficiency and compliance.
14. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and cost analysis reports.
15. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping in compliance with tax regulations.
16. Handle tax-related matters and liaise with tax authorities and relevant government agencies.
17. Oversee the accounting department’s reporting to management and authorities.
18. Implement and optimize ERP/accounting software to enhance efficiency and automation.
19. Work closely with management to support financial planning, cost control, and strategic decision-making.
20. Perform additional tasks assigned by the Board of Directors.
