Ecocycle QA/QC Chemist (For Fresh Graduate Student)

- Work location: Km7 Nguyen Thi Dinh Street, Cat Lai Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City

Main Duties:

1. Waste/ AFR pre-qualification

• Examine quality of waste during pre-qualification and daily delivery acceptance at the platform or directly at the co-processing site (HONC Plant)
• Control quality of Rice husk (CATL)
• Understand and operate the lab equipment and minimize the error in sampling and testing
• Update the waste material delivery to Laboratory
• Do trial testing for new wastes

2. Waste/ AFR quality control

• Follow the specification requirement of waste input into the kiln
• Create and follow up the testing plan closely for different kinds of waste materials and carry out periodically the testing of waste material according to testing plan
• Control over limit waste, out of specification, high risk waste and take the handling guidelines to operation. Give guildline for storage, PPE, packaging, measurement control. Alarrm High Risk waste for cooperate manage, pre-processing and co-processing.
• Checking list of material (Pesticide,Chemical,etc.). Doing test, neutralize test, compatibility test.
• Coordinate with AFR and cement plant teams on quality matters on daily basis and take timely measures in case of issues

3. EcoCert assessment, SEDEX, ISO 9K,14K and 17025 compliance

• Maintain ISO 9K, ISO 17025 document, continuously improve Quality management system. Prepare or update or revise Procedure, Work instruction, records, forms, other paper works
• Responsibility for control records, document of Ecocycle Lab
• Do risk assessments for all sampling, testing activities
• Refer to and applied standard methods or standard procedures for sampling and testing
• Responsibility for calibration, inspection analytical equipment follow up the plan
• Replace some spare parts, repair some minor breakdown.
• Planning for Maintenance, Checking/Inspection, Calibration rely on manual, technical standard yearly.
• Ensure analytical equipment operates in good condition and stability according to plan.
• Planning for doing buy spare parts, consumble. Optimizing appropriate budget.
• Prepare document for ISO audit section.
• Responsibility for Obs, Non-comfomity issue.
• Follow up implementation the corrective action of non-conformity of lab activities
• Weekly tools, equipment monitoring, housekeeping

4. Reporting and other tasks

• Report the status of lab equipment to direct supervisor
• Update all wastes/ AFR test result
• Send AFR data analysis to Ecocycle lab Superintendent monthly
• Take responsibility for checking, inventory laboratory tools, chemicals
• Laboratory housekeeping
• The assigned works

1. Educational Qualifications

• Chemical University Degree
• Be knowledgeable in ISO 9K,14K and  ISO 17025
• TOEIC Score: 500+
• Microsoft office

• Waste/ AFR types and acceptance criteria
• Environment and OH&S aspects of waste/ AFR handling and laboratory work
