Serve as the primary contact for warehouse related activities.
● Drive warehouse systems and programs that enhance user experience.
● Evaluate opportunities providing clear cost savings and service improvements.
● Implementation of new programs focused on cost and service opportunities.
● Develop automation proposals to drive space utilization, cost savings, and
operational efficiency.
● Guide warehouse audits to evaluate compliance levels and effectiveness of
procedures, policies, controls.
● Participate in new business continuity plan groups, identifying operational
requirements early in the planning process.
● Develop a partnership with demand planning, supply chain, transportation, and trade
operations teams for operational flow.
● Continuously improving logistics and warehouse operational requirements.
● Bachelor’s degree required.
● 15 years’ experience in distribution, logistics, and transportation
● Transportation Management Systems experience preferred.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Possess strong leadership skills including team facilitation, training, and motivation.
● Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with scalable and repeatable results.
● Experience with implementing efficiency improvements.
● Third party or equivalent site operation experience is required.
● Proven understanding of statistics and strong analytic skills.
● Intuitive ability to recognize innovative opportunities.
● Excellent communication skills; written and verbal communication skills.
● Interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of the organization.
