Investment Officer

JOB PURPOSE: Handle all back-end tasks after investment transactions are approved and prepare the Company’s investment portfolio reports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage liquidity and cash flow arising from the Company’s investment activities.
• Take charge of all operational tasks of the Investment Department, including preparing and managing investment contracts; updating and monitoring progress of investment transactions; liaising with banks to negotiate interest rates and manage cash flow.
• Prepare and present periodic management reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) to regulators (Ministry of Finance, State Bank of Vietnam, Tax Authorities), for internal/external audit, Group reporting, as well as ad-hoc reports upon request.
• Prepare and complete accounting records for the Company’s investment funds.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures for the operational activities of the Investment Department.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1, Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Investment, or related fields.

2, Experience:

• At least 1–2 years of experience in back-end investment operations.
• Preferred: experience in investment accounting or investment operations.
• Advantage: experience in the life insurance industry or fund accounting in life insurance/open-ended funds.

3, Professional/Technical Skills

• Strong analytical, numerical, and scientific working methods; ability to evaluate financial issues.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT); SAP experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of capital markets and investment.

4, Certification: Any relevant professional certifications in Finance/Accounting/Investment.
