PMO (Project Management Officer) - Banking

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam – Onsite

Working hours: 9:00 – 18:00

Contract Duration: 6 months

The PMO will coordinate and govern all transformation activities related to systems impacted by the new core banking platform. The role involves interacting with the bank’s teams and application vendors to ensure timeline and project milestones are met. The PMO role will monitor and track key issues and risks, drive discussions to resolve or mitigate them together with the bank as well as external party (eg. vendor).

The workstream PMO will roll up to the overall program PMO.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance and Delivery Oversight

• Manage and maintain the workstream plan, including risks, issues, actions, and dependencies (RAID).
• Oversee daily execution progress across business, operations, technology teams, and vendors within the channel domain.
• Drive and document weekly status updates; escalate critical issues to the Program TMO.

Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination

• Act as the central coordination point between the bank’s stakeholders (Business, Operations, Technology) and third-party solution vendor.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment with Testing, Integration, and Data Migration workstreams.
• Lead regular check-ins with application vendors to track deliverables and unblock dependencies.

Functional Scope & Integration Management

• Track and align core banking platform integration with loans disbursement system.

Program Management Support

• Prepare and maintain all PMO artefacts:
  • RAID Logs
  • Change Request Forms
  • Workstream Workplan and Milestone Tracker
  • RAG Status Reports

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Core Banking implementation 
• Familiarity with core banking systems
• 3-10 years of experience in project management or PMO roles
• Strong command of tools like MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence
