PRODUCTION ENGINEER

The Production Engineer is responsible for analysing, optimizing, and improving production processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and high-quality output. This role focuses on continuous improvement, waste reduction, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination to achieve production targets within budget and deadlines.

• Implement production plans, monitor progress, adjust resources, and address variances to ensure quality standards and timelines are met
• Analyse, oversee, and optimize production processes by applying Lean tools to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure smooth workflow
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures, troubleshooting machine and process issues while minimizing downtime and disruption
• Train, guide, and supervise operators, shift leaders, worker to ensure proper machine operation and strict adherence to procedures
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers to align material availability, manpower, and production capacity

• Bachelor Degree or higher in chemical engineering, process engineering or a comparable subject
• Excellent English skills in speaking and writing and fluent in Vietnamese
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment
• Printing experience is preferable
• Experience of SAP or ERP system is preferable
• Self-confident appearance, strong communication skills and good working attitude
• Excellent analytical skills down to details, well-structured workstyle
• Quick understanding of complex processes
• Able to work under pressure
• Absolutely reliable, honest and keeping the technical know-how strictly confidential
• No color vision deficiency
• Working in shifts might be necessary in exceptional cases
• Having knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
