* Production Planning and Execution:
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand, optimizing resource utilization
- Oversee the execution of production plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to forecast demand and adjust production plans
- Manage store raw material to prevent shortages or overstocking
* Resource Allocation and Optimization:
- Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and machinery, to maximize output
- Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization and implement process improvements
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance to prevent downtime
* Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Work with QC teams to monitor raw materials, in-process checks, and final inspections
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify and address defects
* Team Leadership and Management:
- Manage and supervise a team of workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance employee skills
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees at TOAV
* Health and Safety Management:
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the TOAV factory
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance among employees
* Improvement:
- Apply Lean tools to eliminate waste in production processes
- Participate in or propose initiatives to improve cycle times, reduce inventory, and optimize layout
- Train and promote Lean awareness among team members
- Maintain and improve a clean, organized, and structured workplace following 5S principles
- Conduct regular 5S audits and enforce compliance across the production area
- Encourage employee suggestions for workplace organization improvements
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvement opportunities
- Lead small improvement (kaizen) projects with team participation
- Measure and report the results of improvement efforts to management
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
- Bachelor Degree or Higher in Science, Engineering or Institute of Operations Management
- 10 years working experience in production of relevant chemical industry
- At least 5-year experience in Production Manager position
- Understand company’s products and competitors is an advantage
- Good presentation skills
- Effectively communicate with all members of the team. Be approachable and strive to build teamwork and positive morale
- Able to work under pressure, high commitment
- Require a thorough knowledge of manufacturing and operations management principles
- Good leadership abilities, specifically the ability to exercise individual discretion to effectively direct the work of others
- Good problem solving
- Good knowledge of continous improvement program ( 6 SigmaLean, Kaizen)
- Good command of spoken and written English
