- Master’s degree in economics, finance, disaster risk management, environment, natural resources management or closely related/relevant fields;
- Having at least 5 years of working experience in finance, insurance, public asset management, climate or disaster risk financing, preferably in development cooperation setting;
- Good knowledge and understanding about climate and disaster – resilient protection of critical infrastructure and financial instruments to hedge climate and disaster risks;
- Good knowledge and understanding about disaster risk management and financing in Vietnam, including existing regulatory basis and institutional capacities;
- Digital affinity and experience in developing and/or applying digital technologies and tools, preferably related to financing instruments;
- Good knowledge about private sector landscape and engagement in the areas of climate and disaster risk financing and insurance;
- Proven – working experience with and having good working relationships with governmental, ministerial, and provincial partners on climate and disaster risk protection, public asset management, financing, insurance or related topics;
- Excellent English proficiency, especially in presentation and writing;
- Capability to accompany and supervise multidisciplinary consultant teams;
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to travel frequently if required.
