JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Project Manager is responsible for leading and implementing cross-functional technology and process improvement projects that enhance Ashton Phu My’s warehouse efficiency, automation, and digital transformation.
This role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and leadership skills to ensure the successful integration of automation technologies, AI tools, and data-driven systems into warehouse operations.
The Project Manager will coordinate with key departments — Warehouse, IT, Maintenance, HR, and Production — to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, system integration, and employee readiness for digital adoption.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Technology Implementation & Integration
Lead projects related to automation (robotics, conveyors, AMRs, AS/RS) and smart warehouse systems.
Work with IT and Maintenance teams to integrate new technologies with existing WMS, IoT, and data platforms.
Support AI and machine learning initiatives, such as predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and real-time performance monitoring.
Ensure smooth system deployment with minimal disruption to operations.
2. Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Use data analytics and performance metrics to identify process bottlenecks, optimize layouts, and improve material flow.
Apply predictive and prescriptive analytics to support proactive decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, productivity, and operational transparency.
3. Project Planning & Management
Apply Agile or Waterfall methodologies to manage complex, multi-phase projects.
Define project objectives, milestones, deliverables, and timelines aligned with business priorities.
Manage project budgets, monitor ROI, and control capital expenditures.
Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining execution speed and quality.
4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with automation vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure timely project delivery.
Act as the main liaison between internal departments (Warehouse, IT, HR, Finance) and external partners.
Negotiate and coordinate technical requirements, service levels, and implementation schedules.
5. Change Management & Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams through technological and operational transitions.
Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, practical terms to non-technical stakeholders.
Promote a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making.
Support training and engagement initiatives to help employees adapt to new systems and technologies.
6. Reporting & Evaluation
Track and report project performance using KPIs and dashboards.
Present project outcomes, ROI analysis, and improvement results to senior management.
Recommend further enhancements or scalability options based on results and feedback.
