Develop and implement a comprehensive QMS to ensure all vendor factories comply with food safety, quality, sanitation, and regulatory standards for all food products.
Maintain and further develop existing internal SOPs for farm/warehouse audits, on-line supervision, inspection, traceability and other related activities, based on customer guidelines and requirements.
Review factory food safety management systems and their production documentation to ensure compliance with the customer requirements.
2) Quality & Food Safety Monitoring
Monitor vendor factories to ensure compliance with required quality and food safety standards.
Proactively identify and recommend improvements for any non-conformities by conducting weekly/monthly walk-through audits, verification and validation activities at the factories and issuing or reviewing CARs.
Lead external annual quality audits and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
Evaluate delegation requests by factories to prevent any potential negative impacts on the products.
3) Unqualified Product Handling
Handle customer complaints/CARs, evaluate issues and provide suitable solutions for out-of-spec products and other quality concerns.
Analyze root causes, coordinate with all vendor factories, and ensure the timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
II/ Operations-related tasks
1) Production operations management
Develop and deliver clear, effective communication to all suppliers to ensure awareness of QA standards, program updates, and process changes.
Build internal control SOPs for the company to plan, schedule, monitor, and coordinate all production activities at vendor factories, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
2) Product Development & Sample Evaluation
Coordinate with the vendor factories on R&D to develop new products.
Evaluate the new products for the company’s upcoming projects.
3) QA & QC Leading roles
Overview all the work and daily activities of the QA & QC teams.
Supervise and resolve operational issues within the team to ensure smooth operation.
Provide instructions and guidance on new projects, quality initiatives, or process changes.
Finalize the QC working schedule and approve staff leave requests and overtime requests.
Receive, review, and provide suitable solutions regarding QC-related concerns and challenges.
Lead/participate in the recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and continuous training for QA and QC staff.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in the food processing industry, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining quality systems in food processing environments, including HACCP, BRC, IFS, FSSC, and other international standards.
Mature and responsible, with demonstrated experience in leading QA/QC teams and managing quality operations effectively.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to take initiative and provide practical solutions to quality and food safety issues.
Good command of both written and spoken English.
Willing and able to travel frequently for audits, supplier inspections, and business meetings.
Experience in the freeze-dried fruit sector is an advantage
Working Time and Benefits
Working time: Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Can work from home on Saturday if no business trip is required.
