1. Trade Promotion Management
Develop and execute yearly/ monthly/ and weekly promotion plans to achieve targeted revenue and profit.
Implement and follow up on clearance programs, including stock updates, reporting, and in-store merchandising execution.
Strictly monitor promotion timelines in collaboration with the Trading team and other relevant departments.
Closely track stock status to ensure products are delivered to stores before the start of campaigns.
Work with the direct line manager to develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with Retail, Trading, Marketing, and Demand Planning to launch promotions across 1,000+ stores and digital channels.
Develop promotional and catalog tactics based on customer and market insights; react swiftly to market shifts to meet KPIs.
Ensure commercial activities deliver effective solutions balancing risks and opportunities in promotion planning and markdown recommendations.
2. Organization and Team Management
Develop departmental structure, job descriptions, and budgets aligned with company strategic goals; ensure regular performance reviews.
Define departmental and individual KPIs, align with the line manager, and ensure target achievement.
Assign KPIs and responsibilities to team members, provide guidance, support achievement, and conduct required performance evaluations.
Manage, train, and develop the team; evaluate competencies and create development plans to bridge gaps with expected standards.
Train staff on processes, work standards, and procedures; ensure compliance within assigned responsibilities.
Establish standardized working methods aligned with SOPs, policies, and improvement initiatives.
Motivate the team, enhance engagement, and maintain a positive working environment.
Graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or related fields.
Proficient in English and MS Office.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the retail industry, with at least 2 years in team management.
Strong understanding of merchandising operations and solid relationships within the supply chain.
Strong knowledge of commercial finance and profitability management.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
