1. Develop and issue reports for the AFI Distribution Centers to enable DC leadership to make informed business decisions.
2. Use E-mail, Teams, and other communication channels to report critical business information from the Control Tower.
3. Escalate trends based on the escalation plan put forth by the AFI management team.
4. Field data requests from the Operations Leaders and provide basic analysis as requested: basic analysis may include pulling data sets from WMS, Power BI, etc., and manipulating this data in Excel.
5. Collaborate with the distribution and fulfillment center management and end users to assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and safety, as well as reduce cost and waste, in all distribution and fulfillment center processes – the Control Tower will support continuous improvement in the form of tracking metrics, publishing run charts, etc.
6. Escalate downtime issues to the relevant authority (e.g., Automation Specialists) to maximize equipment uptime and ROI on automation investments.
7. Work collaboratively with the Operations Leadership teams to resolve operational challenges by providing key business insights.
8. Generate ad hoc reports and queries as needed.
9. Communicate extensively over E-mail and team – this role requires one to overcommunicate at times.

1. Education
Graduated from university with a major relating to manufacturing and warehouse.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Basic understanding of warehousing operations
• Working knowledge of data tools such as MS Excel
• Working knowledge of reporting tools
• Working knowledge of basic data manipulation to generate views
• Strong math skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Maintain confidentiality of reporting, metrics, etc.
