Job Description

We are is a newly established business with 100% investment capital from the USA, specializing in making shoe midsoles from environmentally friendly materials. Our products are made by an innovative and creative technology (supercritical foaming process) where the midsoles can be recyclable and compostable, which could drastically reduce the amount of waste in the footwear industry. The products are patented and winning the 2024 ISPO Brand New Award for Sustainability.

As a QA/QC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance processes to ensure products meet the required standards of safety, reliability, and performance. This role involves developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting audits, and leading a team of QC/QA professionals to achieve organizational quality objectives.

1. Developing Quality Management Systems: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.

2. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the manufacturing and quality control processes and implement measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

3. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance procedures to monitor and evaluate product quality throughout the production process, from raw material inspection to final product testing.

4. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards for raw materials and components, conduct supplier audits, and address quality issues as necessary.

5. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) methods and inspection protocols, to identify and address deviations from quality standards.

6. Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring product safety and reliability.

7. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for QC/QA staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality management principles and practices.

8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including test results, inspection records, and corrective actions. Prepare regular reports on quality performance for management review.

9. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, GRS, and other applicable quality management standards.

10. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness, facilitating root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.

11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirement

Education & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma).
  • Certification in quality management is a plus.

Foreign language: can communicate in English (4 skills)

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in quality control/assurance roles within manufacturing industry, preferably in footwear.
