Job Description
We are seeking a talent for QHSE Manager in Oil/Gas industry with details:
- Quality Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.
- Oversee quality assurance and control processes for all operations, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure continuous improvement and certification compliance.
- Health and Safety Management:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for oil and gas operations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
- Environmental Management:
- Establish and maintain Environmental Management Systems (EMS) in line with ISO 14001 standards.
- Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement programs for waste management, pollution prevention, and energy efficiency.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all operations comply with local, regional, and international QHSE regulations and standards.
- Prepare regular QHSE performance reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Maintain records of inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
- Team Leadership and Training:
- Lead and manage the QHSE team, ensuring clear communication of responsibilities and goals.
- Provide guidance and support to site managers and employees on QHSE matters.
- Organize training sessions on QHSE standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Incident and Emergency Response:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for oil and gas operations.
- Coordinate with local authorities, clients, and contractors during emergencies.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement lessons learned.
Job Requirement
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 8-10 years of experience in QHSE management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and industry-specific standards.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in QHSE management systems and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
