Gunkul Vietnam Joint Stock Company is a subsidiary of Gunkul Engineering Public Company Limited.

Gunkul Engineering Plc was established in 1982, initially operating mainly in the field of providing electrical equipment. By 2010, after nearly 3 decades of development, the Company decided to shift to the renewable energy industry. Three years later, in 2013, Gunkul Engineering expanded its operations to foreign markets for the first time with a 25MW gas engine power plant project in Myanmar. After that, the Company has continuously expanded with projects in many other markets such as a 31.8MW solar power project in Japan and another project in Malaysia with a capacity of 29.99MW.

In 2020, following in the footsteps of other Thai businesses, Gunkul Engineering Plc is determined to become one of the leading corporations in the energy sector in Thailand expanding to the Vietnamese market. Up to now, Gunkul has 4 solar power projects in Vietnam with a total capacity of 160MWp.

In Vietnam, our mission is renewable energy, which constructs renewable energy power plants with high standards and efficiency by prioritizing society, local community and environment.
