A. Import operations
1. Contact overseas agents to follow up on the transportation status of import shipments handled by the Sales team
2. Update the the monthly import rate sheet for the sales team.
3. Coordinate and negotiate special requests such as taking photos, holding cargo, requesting free-time, hanlding fees, and other cargo-related requirements.
4. Make the monthly volume and profit report of sales team.
B. Export operations
1. Update customers and agents on connecting vessels and estimated arrival times (ETA); promptly notify any changes in the schedule.
2. Contact agents to check door-to-door freight rates and place bookings with carriers for FCL shipments.
3. Handle and negotiate special request with carriers for export cargo, including photos, holding cargo, requesting freetime, storage charges…
4. Monitor ETD, ETA and transit time to ensure timely delivery; update CNEE’s DO release date and cargo pick-up status; remind consignee to collect cargo promptly to avoid storage charges.
5. Check with carrier carriers/agents regarding acceptance of special cargo types (food, oversize cargo, etc.) and dangerous goods (DG with MSDS), and verify any related surcharges
6. Review and negotiate freight rates and manage door-to-door shipment arrangements.
7. Handle i issues at the destination port such as damaged cargo, cargo loss, consignee refusal, incorrect shipping marks, incorrect local charges from agents, etc
8. Receive and support customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
9. Prepare Work Order List (WOL) to support Sales uppon request
10. Make the monthly volume and profit report for sales team.
C. Pricing
1. Support checking freight rates with carriers/agents and other relevant partners as assigned by the Pricing Leader.
2. Sumarize and update FCL/LCL sheets by trade lane and distribure to the Sales team and related departments.
3. Work directly with carrier to obtain freight rates, sailing schedules, space availability, free-time and applicable surcharges for each shipment as requested.
4. Support the Pricing Leader in tasks such ass receving bookings, confirming vessel schedules, reviewing carrier term/promtion and monitoring updates related to rates or bookings
5. Coordinate closely with the Sales team to provide quick and accirate quotation to customers.
Job requirment:
- Bachelor’s or College Degree in International Business, Logistics, Economics, Transportation or related fieds.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Strong customer service mindset and proble- solving skills
- Detail- oriented, diligent, high responsibility and able to work under pressure.
- Proficient in English (4 skills)

- Monday to Friday: 8:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 8:00 – 11:30
