• IRMC (Integrated Risk Management Center) of Risk Division, VPbank is the owner of CAR & RWA, Centralized Data Marts, IFRS9 as well as various business supporting systems. We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dedicated team in transforming our on-premises systems to cloud-based solutions as well as developing future systems on cloud. This role involves refactoring existing systems, designing and implementing advanced data processing and reporting systems, and leveraging cloud technologies and big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop.

System Refactoring: Re-architect, re-design, and re-implement existing on-premises systems to cloud environments.

Cloud Integration: Design and develop cloud-based solutions using top-tier technologies.

Data Processing: Implement robust data processing and reporting systems.

Big Data Calculation: Develop big data computation engines using Spark and Hadoop.

Optimization: Continuously optimize and enhance system performance and scalability.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, implementations, and processes.

1.    Educational Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

2.    Relevant Knowledge/ Expertise 

• Proven experience in software development, particularly in cloud-based systems. 

• Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop. 

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

• Experience with cloud datawarehouse or RBDMS like Redshift/RDS is a plus. 

3.    Skills 

• Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical and business details. 

• A methodical, investigative and inquisitive mind 

• Analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Excellent oral and written communication skills 

• Initiative and self-confidence 

• Communicate in English 

• Understand software deployment process (with focus on requirements elicitation and UAT) 

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, or Python. 

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling. 

• Familiarity with data processing frameworks and ETL processes. 

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. 

4.    Relevant Experience 

• At least 5 years of experience in data, product development area  

• Experience of working in many projects (including Scrum projects); Preferably projects in banking area
