Direct Line : Global Procurement Manager - Retail Business and Overseas Dotted Line: Country Manager, Nabati Food Vietnam
Scope:
Responsible for supporting and executing procurement activities for Nabati Food Vietnam, including local direct and indirect purchasing, importation coordination for finished goods, and vendor management (3PL/warehouse providers).
Job Responsibilities:
Support importation processes for finished goods from the Indonesian principal, including order placement, shipment tracking, and document coordination for customs clearance.
Execute local sourcing activities for indirect goods and services (e.g., marketing materials, office supplies, IT equipment) in line with company procurement procedures.
Coordinate with the supply chain and export teams in Indonesia to ensure smooth communication, resolve daily operational issues, and support demand and inventory alignment.
Work with and monitor local vendors (e.g., 3PL, freight forwarders, warehouse providers) to ensure service quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
Track and report inventory levels in Vietnam, assisting in preventing stock shortages or overstocking by coordinating with relevant departments.
Ensure compliance of all procurement-related activities with Vietnam import regulations (BOC, FDA Vietnam) and company policies.
Prepare regular procurement reports (e.g., supplier performance, delivery status, basic cost analysis) for submission to the Procurement Manager and Vietnam Country Manager.

Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within the FMCG or manufacturing industry. Experience in working with international brands or multinational companies in Vietnam is preferred.
Experience supporting sourcing and purchasing activities, including vendor selection, quotation comparison, and purchase order management.
Good understanding of import procedures and logistics coordination, including experience working with 3PL and freight forwarding partners.
Basic financial understanding, including cost comparison, budget tracking, and reporting to management.
Effective communication and coordination skills, capable of working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams (Vietnam and Indonesia). Fluent in Vietnamese and good command of English; Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
Familiarity with Vietnam’s import regulations, such as the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and FDA Vietnam, is an advantage.
Good negotiation and vendor management skills with an orientation toward cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Functional Competencies
Procurement & Logistics Coordination: Understanding of purchasing procedures, import/export documentation, customs requirements, and Incoterms within the ASEAN region.
Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Ability to maintain relationships with local vendors, 3PLs, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
Negotiation & Cost Control: Skilled in negotiating quotations, managing supplier performance, and supporting initiatives to optimize procurement costs.
Regulatory Compliance: Working knowledge of Vietnam import processes, customs clearance, and product documentation for imported food products.
Reporting & System Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP or similar) for purchase order management and reporting.
