Job Description

  • Answers the phone in a cheerful, professional manner, assists the caller or directs the calls to the appropriate staff members.
  • Creates and maintains a refined yet welcoming and proficient guest registration experience.
  • Determines credit, renders bills, and receives cash and credit payments in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Audits and balances cash drawer in beginning and end of shift.
  • Creates, updates, and presents guest folio.
  • Controls and issues keys to locker rooms.
  • Responds to guest inquiries and resolves guest concerns in a diplomatic and professional manner.
  • Implements the tee time booking systems and procedures.
  • Implements effective tee time management procedures to ensure the availability is optimized.
  • Assists in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and tournament.
  • Assists to prepare passport & scorecard for tournament, large groups or The Grand guest when you have accurate information.
  • Positively collaborates and communicates proactively with Operation Team and other departments regarding daily arrivals, VIPs, special requests, group needs, check outs and other guest needs that might arise.
  • Communicates any unusual circumstances, events or guests with Supervisor.
  • Maintains close work relationships with other departments and their leaders to promote feedback and efficient operations.
  • Ensures all activities performed within the department are in accordance with the company’s business objectives, and established safety and security standards.
  • Keeps leadership informed on a timely basis of any undue variance from expected results.

Job Requirement

  • Must be well – groomed, honest and trustworthy.
  • Must demonstrate sound work ethics.
  • Must possess strong customer service, oral communication and organization skills as well as telephone handling skills.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to perform multi tasks and work on own initiative.
  • Good computer skills & data entry skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s previous experience as a Reservation/Receptionist/ Cashier is an advantage.
  • Previous experience of using a computerized POS system is an advantage.
  • Previous experience of Golf Course is an advantage.
  • Further training will be provided.
