About the role: The Product Manager will drive the end-to-end development and growth of digital lending products. You will design new initiatives to better serve customers’ needs, leveraging local insights and expertise to reshape the market.
Leading across multiple teams and working with all levels of the organization to achieve results. You are relentless in your customer-first mentality and understand that in driving successful product, understanding the customer is key. You hold yourself to a high level of accountability and like to measure your contributions by the outcomes you deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and manage the digital lending product roadmap (e.g., unsecured personal loan, credit line), ensuring strong product-market fit aligned with company growth objectives and evolving customer needs in Vietnam’s digital finance landscape.
Identify and evaluate new acquisition opportunities by working closely with Partners (Fintech, Risk Free .v.v.) and exploring strategic collaborations within digital ecosystems (e.g., e-wallets, e-commerce, utility apps).
Develop data-driven customer strategies across the lending lifecycle—including acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation—leveraging insights from customer behavior, risk profiles, and transaction history.
Conduct feasibility assessments and co-develop product initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders, including Credit, Risk, Tech, Operations, Legal, and Compliance.
Monitor and analyze market trends, customer segments, competitor offerings, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory updates to continuously refine and differentiate the digital lending proposition.
Work closely with UI/UX and Customer Experience (CX) teams to design intuitive, mobile-first journeys that optimize user onboarding, loan application, and post-disbursement engagement.
Prepare and manage product governance documentation, including proposals for Product Committee approval, regulatory submissions, internal product policies, and operational SOPs.
Collaborate with Business Analyst (BA) and Tech teams to translate business requirements into clear and complete Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), covering systems like the Digital Onboarding Platform, Loan Origination System (LOS), and Core Lending Engine.
Lead go-to-market planning with the Marketing team for new product launches, including customer communication, digital campaigns, and promotional strategies.
Act as a product owner or project lead for all new digital lending initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance (via UAT), and cross-department alignment.
Ensure compliance with internal risk governance and local regulatory frameworks, while embedding responsible lending principles and customer protection practices.
Work with Operations and Customer Service teams to streamline backend processes and design scalable solutions for digital customer support and servicing.
Monitor product performance and health metrics, including funnel conversion, delinquency rates, approval/rejection ratios, cost of acquisition, and customer lifetime value; recommend enhancements based on insights.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging experimentation (e.g., A/B testing), feedback loops, and agile iteration to improve product-market fit and business KPIs.

Education level, certification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking sector
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience with digital lending products in banks and consumer finance or Fintech, with a good understanding of the lending regulations and market practices.
Ability to manage complex projects with a diverse range of stakeholders including technology, compliance, legal and risk.
Strong sense of business objectives.
Ability to think in a customer-centric approach while equally being able to pivot around new ideas in an agile way-of-working.
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to influence, coach and train others.
Ability to anticipate, act proactively, and work both autonomously and as a team player. Includes ability to work with multiple stakeholders and build relationships across multiple departments.
High degree of ownership and constructive sense of urgency.
Ability to handle competing priorities, tight turnaround and multiple deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.
